How to complete the Learning Agreement

You must complete a Learning Agreement (LA) form containing the subjects you selected to complete at the partner university. From 2021/22, the LA is an electronic document completed in the OLA system (technical information is provided to nominees by the Foreign Exchange Office). However, it may happen that some partner universities have not yet implemented the OLA system, so it may be necessary to complete the LA document in a traditional form.

Subjects:

1) You must enter all subjects taken at the partner university in LA. To settle the semester, you must complete at least 30 ECTS!

2) Remember that you must complete compulsory subjects at UG (subjects from groups A and B and general departmental subjects - if you have such in a given semester). Suppose you cannot choose subjects equivalent to compulsory subjects at UG at the partner university (or did not choose them). In that case, you must complete them after returning (you must complete the Internal Addendum to LA).

3) For other subjects taken at UG (i.e. outside groups A/B), the equivalent can be any subject at a foreign university. In table B, you must enter the subjects taken in a given semester at UG - i.e. all, except for those A/B subjects for which no equivalents were found and remain to be done after returning. The subjects listed below (point 4) are not entered in the LA either. However, you do enter specialisation subjects and PDW (in the case of PDW, it is enough to enter Electives instead of the names of specific subjects).

4) LA does NOT include classes from the seminar (the seminar is conducted via email—it is not added to the total ECTS points obtained during the mobility) or physical education classes (they are automatically included if they occur during the semester of mobility).

One of the Erasmus+ coordinators must agree upon and approve the choice of subjects. Agreements are made only during the coordinators' consultations, which must be attended (consultations are held online) with a prepared LA proposal and syllabuses of selected subjects at the host university. Requests for approval of selected subjects in LA sent via email will not be processed without prior consultation.

Procedure for contacting coordinators:

Due to numerous errors in completed OLAs and emails sent to coordinators, the following procedure for preparing LA applies:

1. Prepare proposals for equivalents for A/B subjects (download syllabuses of subjects that you want to propose as equivalents from the partner university);

2. Present your proposal during consultations with one of the coordinators;

3. Complete OLA only after this consultation;

4. DO NOT send emails only – please contact the coordinator during consultations. It will be much faster this way. Email contact (concerning LA) is acceptable only after arrangements during consultations if it is still needed.
