Subject Olympiads

Rights of winners and finalists of central-level subject competitions applying for admission to studies

Following resolution no. 76/21 of the Senate of the University of Gdansk of December 16, 2021, on detailed rules for admission to studies in 2022/2023, 2023/2024, 2024/2025, 2025/2026 of laureates and finalists of central-level Olympiads and laureates of international and national competitions, the following persons are entitled to admission to studies in the fields of economics, international economic relations and international business without the qualification procedure:

  • laureates of:
    • National Olympiad on Social Insurance,
    • Olympiad on Knowledge about Poland and the Contemporary World;
  • laureates and finalists of:
    • Ecological Knowledge Olympiad,
    • Geography Olympiad,
    • Mathematical Olympiad,
    • National Forwarding and Logistics Olympiad,
    • Economic Knowledge Olympiad,
    • Human Rights in the Modern World Knowledge Olympiad,
    • European Union Knowledge Olympiad,
    • National Third Polish Republic Knowledge Olympiad,
    • Entrepreneurship Olympiad.

 

The basis for obtaining the rights listed in the resolution is a document issued by the central organising committee of a given Olympiad, provided with an ordinal number confirming the place taken by a given candidate for studies in the central eliminations. The specified rights may be used by laureates and finalists once - in the year of obtaining the secondary school leaving certificate - regardless of the year of receiving the title of laureate or finalist of the Olympiad.
